TEMPLE OF WIND

The flying fortress sits above the skies of Trano Golsaucia, and it acts as the headquarters for Ales Mansay, the Archfiend of Wind. All machinery, all mechas originate from the office on top of the fortress. The former city of Trano Golsaucia has become a secondary home base, which the scavengers of the Central Continent used to raid before security was ramped up. Perhaps some scrap metal can be retrieved if the Heroes are sneaky enough...

Dungeon Layout

The Dungeon is a massive air fortress, copied directly from the one Ales built to overthrow Polokus and establish himself as the rule of the Glade of Dreams. The underside is crossed with hundreds of pipes releasing steam from the giant crystal engines keeping it afloat. The outer perimeter is guarded by subsonic winds that can cut through flesh, and Heroes will be unable to get up there by merely flying with their own powers.

The hallways within the fortress range between claustrophobic and Teensie-sized to grand. The tens of engine rooms provide shortcuts across the fortress and contain treasures, though one should exercise caution when navigating the boiling steam and electrical circuits.

Dungeon Bestiary

ROBOTS - standard human-sized mechanical guardsmen of the flying fortress. All of them (maintenance bots, janitorial, soldiers) come with a projectile weapon attached to their arms.

MOCKING BIRD - Difficult to defeat compared to Robots, Mockingbirds have the ability to climb up walls and ceilings only to drop and crush intruders like pancakes. Their outer shells are nearly impenetrable, though that flashing light in the back of its mouth looks vulnerable...

Boss: Archfiend of Wind

ALES MANSAY, THE "MAGICIAN"
A merchant who, growing sick of the god-ruler, sought to deceive the heroes of his world and overthrow said god-ruler, making himself king. He was foiled in his plans and thrown to Crystallis, but Kalki has given him another chance to mold the land in his image. He has reconstructed the Temple of Wind to float atop a bed of deadly winds, and Trano Golsaucia has become the home base for his robot army.

Strengths: The element of wind is quick and agile, and getting a hit on him can prove to be a challenge. His engineering prowess has given him a wide selection of weapons and other inventions to aid him in combat.

Weaknesses: Teensies are tiny, and his defenses are fragile once a hit can be made on him. His steadfast devotion to science and reason leads to his ignoring use of his magical skills unless pushed to, making his strategy a bit predictable.
